Department of Public Health data shows that the Children’s Medical Security Plan’s wait list has grown more than 65% over the past 4 months. That means almost 11,000 children who are eligible for health insurance are not getting access to the program. With recent state budget cuts, the number of children unable to enroll will continue to rise at an alarming rate.
